Corporate governance issues

The code of conduct, whistleblower arrangements and policy for reporting and handling incidents are discussed in the corporate governance section in this annual report, where information can also be found on Corio’s approach to risk management.

Corio’s code of conduct is designed to make management and employees more aware of ethical issues by recording what is and is not generally regarded as acceptable behaviour within Corio. The code is based on the principle of seeking to avoid actual or potential conflicts arising as a result of business and private interests becoming intertwined. The code of conduct not only protects the interests of our shareholders and clients, but also the interests of the individuals concerned. We are planning to revise the code of conduct, and the new code will be designed to ensure that Corio employees take environmental quality and sustainability into account in their day-to-day decisions.
