Ethics and integrity
To ensure awareness and the avoidance of conflicts of interest, the attention of employees and new members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board is drawn to the applicable rules, including the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Code, the Management Board Rules and the Supervisory Board Rules, when they first join the company or are appointed. This is also part of the induction programme for members of the Supervisory Board. The recruitment of key staff who will be Nominated Persons under the Compliance Code also involves pre- employment screening.
In order to assess the integrity and reliability of contract parties, Corio has a set of screening guidelines that are tailored to the specific nature of the party with which a contract is concluded and the materiality of the contract.
