Information management and business continuity
Corio has a centralised information management structure with two areas of focus: business information support, and ICT infrastructure. Both are centralised units that have functionality, confidentiality, integrity and availability of business information processes as the main criteria.
Business Information Support provides support for central and local business processes, is responsible for the enforcement and use of uniform business definitions and management reports, and enhances synergy in change projects.
The ICT infrastructure unit ensures business continuity and manages the computer facilities in the Netherlands and the connected local centres at the foreign branches. Corio has adopted internal security management standards and procedures based on the ISO 17799:2005 standard. A fallback site is operational for business applications, providing business continuity protection.
