Direct result
Despite the sale of a substantial part of the portfolio, Corio posted a higher direct result in 2008. The growth in the direct result of 0.5% to € 204.1 million (2007: € 203.1 million), or € 3.08 per share (2007: € 3.07), was mainly due to the growth in rental income referred to above.
