Timing of acquisitions, disposals and development

The return on a property is heavily dependent on the timing of its acquisition, development or redevelopment and sale. Corio bases these decisions on strategic considerations and extensive analyses of relevant indicators, supported by both extensive external and internal historical data. As we have learned with the current credit crisis, however, the future is impossible to predict. Corio is pursuing a more active policy on acquisitions and disposals, conducting revaluations on a continuous basis. A distinction is made here between dominant core centres with growth potential and other centres, the latter group being more likely to be considered for sale.
