Catchment area

Most of the shopping centre’s catchment area is in the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux, a busy, dynamic urban area. Approximately 53% of regular customers come from this municipality, and 88% of the population of Issy-les-Moulineaux visits the centre regularly. Thanks to new housing, the municipality’s population has risen sharply in recent years and now stands at more than 60,000. Owing to its location close to the centre of Paris, the municipality is densely populated and there are many high-rise buildings. In addition, Issy-les-Moulineaux has a thriving business district and in recent years has become home to the head offices of a number of leading companies, including France Télécom, Wanadoo, Bouygues, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Sodexo, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft. There are over 70,000 jobs in the municipality, and the office workers who travel to the business district create additional opportunities for the shopping centre. The centre’s catchment area also covers areas of Paris, including parts of the 15th and 16th arrondissements, and (parts of) the municipalities of Boulogne-Billancourt, Meudon, Sèvres and Clamart. All in all, the total catchment area of Les Trois Moulins encompasses 480,000 residents. Prosperity is relatively high in the catchment area. Annual disposable income is on average € 8,500 higher than the average for the whole of Ile de France (the Paris region), and is much higher than the national average.
